Cabinet Refacing
Kitchen remodeling can be easy and affordable with cabinet refacing. Cabinet refacing will not only save you time - an average size kitchen can be completely remodeled in just 5 to 7 working days, it is environmentally friendly because Kitchen Solvers reuses your existing cabinets. The cabinet refacing process is simple and efficient, remodeling mess is kept to a minimum, and your kitchen will remain functional during installation. We use only the best materials; custom-made solid wood doors and drawer fronts, factory finished hardwood paneling, high-grade self-closing hinges, and an assortment of decorative handles to turn your kitchen into the kitchen of your dreams.
The cabinet refacing process is as easy as 1-2-3!
Step One: After removing your old doors and drawer fronts, we apply a 1/8' 3-ply hardwood, or 3/16' SOLID WOOD factory stained and finished paneling to the cabinet face-frames. To avoid unsightly nail holes, panels are applied with our 'glue & pinning' application process. This technique not only enhances the look and quality of the installation by eliminating unsightly nail holes, it also ensures that the paneling will remain securely in place for the life-time of the cabinets. In addition, applying the face-frame panel in this manner significantly increases the strength and stability of the cabinetry.
Step Two: Next, 3/4' solid wood custom-made doors and drawer fronts are installed by highly trained and skilled Kitchen Solvers craftsmen. A Kitchen Solvers kitchen looks new for years because our doors and drawer fronts are hand finished with a state-of-the-art 7-stage catalyzed finishing process.
In addition, to insure the stability and enhance the quality of our doors, we insert center panel spacers to accommodate expansion and contraction due to varying degrees of air moisture. This prevents the 'rattling' noise you may hear when closing a lesser quality door.
The doors we construct also feature mortise and tenon stile to rail assembly. This significantly improves the strength and durability of 'connecting points' holding the center panel in place.
Drawer fronts are constructed with the same obsessive attention to detail as our doors. Featuring dove-tail drawer boxes, the drawer fronts are finished with our 7-stage catalyzed varnished and stained to perfectly match the doors and cabinet frame-work.
At Kitchen Solvers you have the option of choosing from an endless array of doors and drawer front styles, more than a dozen wood species, and from a wide variety of stain colors. We're certain that you will find a style, wood species, and color that'll match your personal taste in kitchen décor.
Step Three: The cabinet refacing process is made complete with the installation of high-grade, self-closing hinges and decorative hardware. You can choose the standard European hinge or the popular soft-close hinge system. Regardless of the choice, our hinges are manufactured to withstand years of high use and abuse. A multitude of options are available with our decorative handles and knobs. From simplistic and functional, to true works of art, our handles and knobs are sure to complement the look of your doors and drawers.
